An introduction to the nurturing and therapeutic practice of being present and aware in self-care.
Evidence shows practicing mindfulness triggers the “relaxation response”. Blood pressure drops, breathing eases and we relax. Our brain chemistry and function change, improving mental health and well-being.
Led by David Wakeling
David has over 30 years experience teaching meditation and mindfulness.
He lived as a Buddhist Monk for 18 years before moving to Nelson to share his knowledge and experience with our community.
