New Daffodil Field at Ravensdown a hit
Listening to the rain last night, we wondered how our daffodil fields had fared! Our newly planted daffodil patch (2,000 bulbs!) at Ravensdown were perfect! Barb had volunteers from ANZ Bank — Karly, Alana, and Sophie — along with staff and students from Salisbury School assisting her. They had a great time picking, and everyone is keen to do it again next year! Discussions have already started with Steve from Ravensdown about planting more bulbs in the future—they are such great advocates for our cause, and we are so grateful!
Michelle headed out to Aniseed Valley then onto Highfield Farm in Eighty-Eight Valley, with a group from Rotary Club of Richmond, they climbed the slopes (which proved to be a bit slippery) and picked a beautiful assortment of daffodils. Huge thanks to the Rotary Club of Richmond volunteers—they certainly worked hard picking this year!
We are so grateful to everyone who turned up today! We just couldn’t have done it without you
