Dear friends and supporters,
On behalf of the Board of the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman, I’d like to share some news regarding our General Manager, Michelle Hunt.
After nine years of outstanding service and leadership, Michelle will be taking a 12-month leave of absence to pursue an exciting opportunity overseas with her family. They’ll be heading to Japan to live and work, and we wish them all the very best for the adventure ahead. Michelle has been a passionate and dedicated leader, and her contribution to our team, our community, and the wider Cancer Society has been invaluable.
While we’ll certainly miss her, this next chapter also brings with it a unique opportunity. We are advertising for someone to step into a fixed-term leadership role, working alongside our experienced and committed team and Cancer Society Nelson Tasman Board. It’s a chance to be part of something meaningful, supporting people across our region at a time when our services are more important than ever.
