Nelson Santa Parade 2023

It was fun in the sun for the thousands of Nelsonians who took to the streets on Sunday 10th December to see the annual NBS Nelson Santa Christmas Parade.

What an amazing turnout. Our float was Relay For Life themed. Purple being the prominent colour of course. Special thanks to Huia from Atahuia Wedding Events for the loan of the awesome balloon arch. And of course the creative genius of our very own Donna who put her decorative touches to our float. A huge thank you to Tina from Just Costumes who let us borrow her trailer to use as our float and also helped with costumes for our Fairy Godmother (Betty) and our wee fairies on the float. Big mihi to all our volunteers on the day, young and old, we could not do this without you.
