Today our incredible volunteers worked together to bunch the daffodils picked yesterday, creating hundreds of bright bunches for Daffodil Day. It may not have been as many as in past years, but the care and effort put in by every helper shone through.

Working in shifts, volunteers carefully arranged the blooms and bundled them into groups of ten, making sure each bunch looked beautiful and ready for tomorrow’s stalls. It was a true team effort, with every pair of hands making a difference.

We were delighted to have students from Waimea College (pic above), members of the Inclusive Sport Trust (top pic), staff from ANZ Aotearoa (pic below), and many wonderful individuals join us throughout the day. Their enthusiasm, care, and willingness to pitch in captured the spirit of community that makes Daffodil Day possible.

Behind every bunch is a story of generosity and support. We are so grateful to everyone who gave their time and energy today – this work simply wouldn’t be possible without you.

With just one more sleep until Daffodil Day, we can’t wait to see the bouquets head out across the region, carried by volunteers and shared by the community.
